Ever feel like you’ve written the “perfect” procedure only to watch people work around it?
That was the challenge we tackled in this Lunch & Learn, where our Founder, Steve McCord, explored how to close the gap between work as imagined (WAI) and work as done (WAD).
During the session, Steve also covered:
- How and why the WAI and WAD gap develops.
- How to write at the right level of detail to close that gap.
- What steps to take when you discover a procedure doesn’t match real-world conditions.
The big takeaway was that procedures aren’t just written well–they should work well in the real world. When they do, safety, efficiency, and compliance become second nature.
We had fun putting these videos together, and we hope you enjoy them too!
