Darlene McCord
Darlene McCord became Managing Member in 2013. Darlene has served as Vice President Business Services of the company since May 2008. Prior to that, she was employed in the nuclear industry for 16 years with Constellation Energy where her most recent position was Project Manager for technical procedure upgrade and administrative procedure group. She has lead and participated on several industry teams developing human factored writer guide, procedure process description and work instruction standards and continues her involvement in these areas. She provides consulting services for procedure process and program mapping and is an instructor for human factored procedure writer courses.
Stephen McCord
Stephen McCord founded Procedure Solutions Management, LLC in May 2008 and became Chairman of the Board in 2013. He has over 30 years of experience with the operation and maintenance of US Naval steam plants, commercial nuclear plants, and industrial facilities.
Steve acted as project manager or participant on several electric industry initiatives sponsored by agencies such as Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO), and Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). These initiatives have transformed the industry in the development of human-factored procedure and work instruction program standards such as Procedure Change Process, Procedure and Work Instruction Writer’s Manual, and Procedure and Work Instruction Use and Adherence.
He has chaired industry groups, led and participated on numerous industry procedure and operational assessments, and benchmark activities, addressed industry associations, and provided training and workshops across the US, Canada, and Europe.
His primary focus has been on the development, implementation and training for various programs and processes designed to improve human performance resulting in greater performance consistency, sustainable regulatory compliance and cost reductions.
Jennifer Smith
Jennifer Smith has worked for Procedure Solutions Management, LLC since May 2012. She is a subject matter expert on procedure program processes and managing knowledge-based performance solutions. Jennifer works closely with clients to analyze, design, and implement document programs, provide consulting services for developing and enhancing human factored writer’s guides, procedure process descriptions, as well as template development and support. She also serves as a Project Manager for technical and admin procedure upgrades and oversees other technical writers providing quality control on work product.
Prior to joining Procedure Solutions Management LLC, Jennifer was employed at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, (PG&E) as a Compliance Consultant leading the new enterprise-wide infrastructure for guidance documents (excluding Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant).
Christina Bennett
Christina Bennett joined PSM in 2012 as a payroll specialist. In 2019, she left to explore new professional development opportunities, but returned in 2021. Her management and HR experience led her to her current position as PSM’s Human Resource Manager. As HR Manager, Christina is responsible for building a robust remote team to serve clients efficiently and effectively. She provides support through a human resource program that is relevant to new practices while still upholding tried and tested human resources procedures.
Prior to (re)joining Procedure Solutions Management, her previous employers include: Disney, Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, Bob Dunn’s Animal Services
Sarah Pickett
Sarah Pickett joined PSM in September 2021 as Marketing Coordinator. Her previous experience working in various marketing and communications roles led her to her current position at PSM. Sarah is responsible for growing PSM’s global reach, building the company brand, and maintaining the company’s digital presence. She also assists in coordinating PSM’s procedure writing classes and seminars and provides support to the HR Department. She is currently working on honing her skills in human factored procedure writing in order to assist with the company’s consulting services. Sarah completes her role as Marketing Coordinator by implementing small business marketing strategies and finding innovative ways to grow the company brand.
Sarah has held previous marketing and communications roles at Wayne State University and Disney.
